Make A Smile Restoration Be Your New Year’s Resolution

February 24th, 2022

At Dental Concepts, we offer a full spectrum of treatments. From professional cleanings to dental implants, we do it all. And as much as we know it’s not nice to play favorites, we just can’t help but love doing dental restorations. There’s something inherently satisfying in knowing that you’ve restored a patient’s dental health, appearance, and self-esteem.

Restoration Overview

When we think about it, dental restoration isn’t that much different from the home restorations that we see on TV. A professional takes a home that is worn down, broken, and potentially unsafe and restores it to its former beauty and strength. The same goes for teeth; a professional takes a tooth that may be worn down, cracked, or misshapen and uses a combination of science and artistry to restore it to its former beauty and strength. In both cases, the results can be life-changing.

Our Restorative Treatments

We could go on and on about restorations. Instead, we’ve selected just a few of our most common restorative treatment options.

  1. Dental Implants — Implants are a permanent solution for missing teeth. Why do patients love them? They offer stability like no other prosthetic options. Patients are free to eat, speak, and smile without fear of their teeth slipping or being damaged.
  2. Fillings — Fillings? Restorative? You bet! When patients have a cavity, we remove the decay and then fill the site with a filling, restoring the tooth to its original strength and chewing abilities. As a mercury-free practice, we only use tooth-colored fillings, keeping your smile as natural-looking as possible.
  3. Veneers — Dental veneers are multi-taskers, fixing anything from discoloration, tooth shape, and misalignments. Veneers are placed on the front surface of your teeth, making the most prominent features of your smile bright, beautiful, and strong.
  4. Crowns — While veneers restore the front surfaces of your teeth, crowns restore the chewing surfaces. If a molar has been chipped or cracked, a crown is placed on top (like a crown on your head) to restore your tooth’s appearance and strength. Like veneers and fillings, the crown can be matched to the color of your natural tooth, letting you keep the appearance of a flawless smile.
