Bonding
Dental bonding is a restorative procedure that can correct teeth that are chipped, cracked, discolored, or misaligned. If you are a candidate for dental bonding, we will prepare your tooth by gently etching the surface then applying a bonding solution.
Dental Crowns
Also known as a cap, a crown is a custom-made artificial restoration that permanently covers your tooth. They are often made of porcelain, porcelain fused to metal, or full gold.
Dental Bridges
All of your teeth are required to speak clearly, chew food, and maintain proper alignment of your bite. Even a single missing tooth can create problems down the road. One option for correcting tooth loss is a dental bridge.
Dental Implants
The health of your teeth is about far more than a beautiful smile. A missing tooth can not only affect your ability to eat and speak normally, it can cause your remaining teeth and supporting bone structures to deteriorate, as well.
Dentures
Dentures are replacements for missing teeth that can be taken out and put back into your mouth. Although dentures may take some getting used to, modern dentistry provides a natural looking and comfortable alternative to the loss of teeth.
Root Canal Therapy
Well over 14 million root canals are performed every year, making it one of the most common dental procedures. A root canal can save your natural teeth, preventing the need for implants or bridges.
Teeth Whitening
If stained teeth are keeping you from sharing your smile, then teeth whitening may change your life. We offer both at-home whitening and in-office whitening, making gleaming teeth an option for almost any need or lifestyle. Both are safe, inexpensive, and can change the way you feel about your smile.
Porcelain Veneers
When it comes to improving your smile, porcelain veneers are an ideal choice. Veneers are thin ceramic shells that are bonded directly to the front surface of your teeth. They are simple and versatile, as they can correct tooth color, shape, or imperfections such as chips and cracks.
Fillings
Fillings are used to replace decayed portions of teeth that may be broken, cracked or affected by cavities. Without such replacements, decayed teeth portions could cause toothache, sharp throbbing pain, or sensitivity to hot/cold food and beverages.
Tooth Extractions
Tooth extraction procedures are used to treat severe oral health issues. If your teeth are badly damaged due to decay, trauma, crowding or infection, it may be necessary to have a tooth extraction. Before an extraction, restorative options such as root canal therapy, dental crowns and tooth fillings are considered.
Invisalign
Orthodontics have never been so easy, speedy, or subtle! Invisalign uses a series of safe, clear plastic aligner trays to gently shift your teeth into position, giving you the smile of your dreams without the tell-tale metallics of traditional braces.
Dental Exams and Check-Ups
Oral hygiene is necessary for eliminating bacteria in the mouth. A good dental care routine and regular check-ups will keep your mouth healthy and prevent inflammation, infection, decay, and tooth loss.
Snoring/Sleep Apnea
Snoring is often dismissed as an annoyance, but it can actually be a sign of a very serious condition known as obstructive sleep apnea. OSA is affects about two-thirds of all adults and can lead to serious medical problems.
Periodontal Treatment
If your gums are red, swollen, and bleed when flossing, you may have periodontal disease. Periodontal disease affects the health of your gums and the bone structures that hold your teeth in place. Without treatment, tooth loss inevitably occurs, affecting your smile and your ability to speak and chew normally.
Teeth Cleaning (Prophylaxis)
Both the American Dental Association and Dr. Carbonell recommend that your teeth be professionally cleaned twice a year to prevent tooth decay or gum disease. More frequent visits may be suggested for patients with gum disease.
Dental Sealants
Sealants are a thin, insulating layer (generally made from plastic resin) that sticks to the chewing surface of your child’s back teeth and smoothen them out. By sealing fissures in your child’s teeth, sealants reduce the chances of your child experiencing oral health issues such as cavities, root canal therapy or dental implant procedures.
Inlays & Onlays
If more than half of a tooth’s biting surface is damaged, Dr. Carbonell may recommend an inlay or onlay. Both inlays and onlays can be made of ceramic substrates, gold, or composite resin and are bonded to the damaged area of the tooth.
